  God, Cate would probably have a restraining order against me cuz I'd be at every single bloody event the STC held including all of the productions!

I just called the STC box-office and checked it on its official website, been told that all the tickets of Cate's Uncle Vanya have been sold out......

come on, it's still 3 months to go before the show starts...how can the tickets be so hot...

I came all the way to study in Sydney and now I'm in the nearest geographic position to Cate in my life, and I can't see her play......... really very very very very very upset!!!!!

Well, I'm terribly sad for you but incredibly happy for the STC!!!   Sold out, every show?!!!  Wow.   

Don't lose hope DaisyMK.  When we were in New York we were able to buy up a couple of tix @ the box office window from those who returned them.    When you get closer to the play try again, I bet you'll get different results.  Also, keep checking ebay or other "craigslist" type of sites...somebody is bound to be scalping them at a decent price.

I checked STC's website this afternoon (with extreme excitement), and then got confused, don't understand why can't buy the ticket...

I can't choose the seat...and so can't get to the next booking step...I phoned the boxoffice, they just told me all the tickets are sold out and have no idea about the information on the website...

I think they didn't update the website.

Yes, but any box office will tell you that they release tix closer to the performance dates.    There will always be people who are unable to attend & release their tix back into the system.  I work for a ticket agency so I know this from personal experience.  Don't give up hope, especially so long before the event.
