I cant say I've seen much of the "classics" and I think I started a shame thread a while back, starting it by saying a whole lotta movies that are considered classics and I havent seen, for example Citizen Caine!!!  Blush

Of the ones I've seen I think a great acting treat is Who is Afraid of Virginia Wolf and a great visual and mind-blowing experience is 2001 A Space Odyssey.

I should have thought of this before, but I chose instead to sprinkle my classic love all over the forum. tongue

I'm very much into classic Hollywood and am very facinated by the silent era. So many great actors forgotten, so many great films lost. I'm currently on Buster Keaton kick...

I'm all for it. I love posting pictures.

Next to Cate, I think Greta Garbo was the most beautiful woman.

Speaking of beautiful, I agree with Garbo, but next to her I think Ava Gardner was the most gorgeous.

I'm not sure I agree about Ava Gardner. But I haven't seen any of her movies, so maybe that's a reason. I looked up some pics of Natalie Wood.

Oh, what fun would that be if everyone agreed on who was the most beautiful? I think every classic actress I like is beautiful, but if ever there was anything subjective, it's beauty. Except that, Garbo was actually on the Guinness Book of Records for being the most beautiful person who ever lived. I guess when enough people agree, you know you're dealing with something extra-special. newlaugh

I like list-making so I've actually given it some thought. IMHO Cate is the most beautiful  woman alive and Greta is the most beautiful woman who ever lived. I'm a dork, I know. ah-ha
