So I was just chatting to Sabine(Layara), when she pointed out a possible pregnancy bump in the newest pictures of the Armani show. Now I thought I was crazy earlier when I noticed something in the Time 100 party pictures:

At first I thought it was the camera position only, but now I'm starting to see it everywhere from any kind of perspective.

Well, Indiana Jones are pretty physically intense, are they not? I wonder...

I don't know how long it takes to wrap her part in Indy, but if she was pregnant, I think they could do it before it shows... or they could probably digitally flatten her belly or who-knows-what. ETA: I don't think it would be more demanding than Charlotte Gray, would it?

Well, I noticed the same thing in photos of Cate from Exit the King. A definite possibility. It would be wonderful news, but I also have hopes for Indy so I hope that does go through.

I know somebody who's working on Indy, and Cate has a stunt double for the physically gruelling scenes, so... it's possible.

You folks had me thinking... I guess she could be. At first glance of the Armani picture, my first impression was "of course she's pregnant". But if you blow up the picture, you'll see that the curve of her back is visible in front of her arm. It suddenly seems she's not pregnant. Perhaps it's just the illusion of the black dress. Would be happy for her if she were, though. I know how much she wants a 3rd child.

Ooooh!! She does look slightly pregnant in these particular photos, and it's very possible she could be pregnant. Not only (as mentioned) has Cate talked over and over about wanting another child, but it matches up perfectly with her film schedules right now: Cate could easily complete Indiana Jones in the early stages of her pregnancy (with a stunt double for those physically challenging scenes, of course!), and after Indiana, her next immediate film is The Fantastic Mr. Fox, which she'll only need to lend her voice to. Cate's other upcoming/rumored films, such as Cancer Vixen and that Scorsese film, appear to still be in their early stages, perhaps not even beginning filming for another year or so. So, if she is pregnant, it looks as though Cate thought it out and put together the fact that she wants another child, the fact that she's not getting any younger (I don't need to explain the relationship between having babies and being an older woman ), and the fact that she has a nice, long-ish break between films coming up.
